Privacy, at the table.
This development version saves gathering details, guest names, invitation view times after a guest enters their name, dish descriptions, quantities, and dietary labels in its shared database. Anyone with the guest link can see that gathering’s information. Do not include information you do not want other guests to see.
Your private links
Guest edit keys are kept in this browser’s local storage and in the private edit link. Host access is kept in the iPhone’s Keychain. The server stores hashes of these keys. Keep private keys to yourself.
Deleting information
Guests can remove their contribution using its private edit link. Hosts can delete a gathering and all its contributions in the iPhone app. Removing data from the live database does not necessarily remove hosting-provider backups immediately.
Development status
The project is not yet released on the App Store. A final privacy policy, support contact, retention policy, and App Store privacy disclosures must be completed before public launch. No advertising or analytics tracking is included in this version.
